Meet BART

Within a dynamic IT environment where machines are constantly being added, changed or deleted, you want to ensure that your virtual machines can perform a functioning and SLA-compliant restore. For this purpose, Yuma has developed BART. BART is a solution used to validate the recoverability of VMware virtual machines.

BART supports many features to mold to your needs and capabilities and will perform automatic validations during time slots convenient to you and with minimal impact on your IT infrastructure. BART validates on your VMware inventory, which means that new VMs are automatically validated unless explicitly excluded from BART.

BART answers questions such as: "is this VM in backup", "has the VM been recovered within by the specified Recovery Time Objective" and "how old is the VM backup or does my recovery turnaround time change over time?". The answers to these important questions can be found within your VMware management interface and the BART reports. In addition, BART is used to report on the recoverability of your virtual machines for (ISO) audit purposes.
